Coach Scott's Rules For Coaching
  • Learn to enjoy coaching (or give it up). The players know a fake.
  • Smile. People who are having fun tend to smile.
  • Discipline often, fairly and without anger. If you are not a disciplinarian, get an assistant coach who is.
  • Do not attack the refs! If you learn how to do this, please let me know the trick... I'm hopeless.

The team I coach rolls thru about 60 drills a season. By the end, they are bored. Boredom and fun are mutually exclusive. I'm trying to compile a massive set of drills to keep the season fun.

Cheers
Coach Scott
